Directions to the Swan and Talbot

 

The large car park to The Swan and Talbot is to the right of the building, guests are welcome to use this if they are drinking, dining with us or staying with us.

By Road

From the North A1 – Take the exit at junction 46 (at the services) and take the fourth exit towards Wetherby (B1224) You will get to a roundabout with the A168 which you go straight across onto the (B6164)

Continue on this road for 2km, you will come to a mini roundabout with a large post office on the left, head straight across and the Swan and Talbot is on your left.

From the South A1 – Take the exit at junction 45 (Boston Spa), take the first exit off the roundabout, then at the next roundabout take the third exit towards Wetherby (A168). Follow this road, which runs alongside the A1 until the roundabout where you head straight across, the second exit, this takes you into Wetherby.

Follow this road across the river Wharfe bridge and head straight across the small roundabout. This takes you onto North Street, continue along this road for around 300m until you go past a small garden on the left, you will then see The Swan and Talbot on the right.

By Bus

Wetherby bus station is located in the centre of the Town, from the bus station walk towards the mini roundabout at the bottom of the main street in Wetherby. At the mini roundabout take a left turn and walk up North street. After a short 3/4 minute walk you will be at The Swan  and Talbot which will be on your left hand side.

Bus routes to Wetherby come from Leeds, Harrogate and York as well as surrounding villages and towns, please search on local transport websites to find a suitable bus and time. There are also coach tours which arrive in Wetherby and these will generally drop off at the Wetherby bus station.

By Train

The nearest train station to Wetherby is Cattal which is a 10 minute drive from Wetherby. This station is reachable by York and Harrogate station which is subsequently reached by Leeds station.
