A pub for more than 400 years, The Swan and Talbot in Wetherby has a long history and was once a posting inn on the Great North Road.

The Swan & Talbot Pub & Restaurant has been proving to be a popular haunt for many of Wetherby’s locals and destination diners. Inside, the pub has low ceilings befitting of its age, a snug area perfect for an afternoon catch up or evening drink and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Awarded the Yorkshire Life traditional pub of 2016 The Swan & Talbot continues to impress customers enjoying our Yorkshire cask ales, locally sourced menu and friendly customer service.

Group Bookings

The Swan and Talbot can accommodate group bookings for business meetings, parties and celebrations! Please call one of the team on 01937 582 040 or alternatively email on info@swanandtalbot.com for a quote or complete the form on our contact page.

Our mouth watering menus can be found under the menus section of this website. Accommodation is also available for travelling guests.

We also welcome Wetherby Race Course visitors for breakfast, a drink before the races or a dinner after. We also support their badge holder scheme.

    Just in time for Christmas, we’re incredibly happy to announce we have just been published in our first book!

    Collaborating with some of the top Yorkshire restaurants, pubs and producers we have two of our venues in the Leeds and West Yorkshire Cook Book which is available to buy now.
